Telling it how it is.

Equally adept at Kathak, Vocals and Tabla, Saberi has carved a niche for herself as far as the Indian Classical Music and Dance community goes.

She is the 11th generation of the Jaipur Gharana lineage and the great granddaughter of Pt Jailal Maharaj Ji and Granddaughter of Pt Ramgopal Misra ji. Having trained under the tutelage of her grandmother, Guru Susmita Misra under the Jaipur Gharana tradition from the tender age of two and a half years old, Saberi has been making waves in the Indian Classical Dance community, not only for her skills as a serious classical dancer but also as an outspoken individual, something severely lacking in the Indian Arts fraternity.

The daughter of Pt. Rajkumar Misra and Smt. Chandrima Misra, renowned musicians and gurus themselves, Saberi has been exposed to Tabla and Vocal music respectively, all her life, performing, training and moulding young minds herself. She has always believed in the importance of the intertwined relationship between music and dance, and has dedicated her life to achieving excellence in these art forms.
